Dan has lived in Branchburg for nearly 20 years, and is a dedicated member of the local community. Dan started his professional career 25 years ago, working in Branchburg as a community banker, and developing relationships with both residents and business owners.
Dan loved Branchburg so much he chose to settle down in Branchburg to raise his family. Over the years, Dan has actively participated in volunteer work throughout the community, including as a BITS soccer coach, cleaning up local streams and roadways, and planting trees along the Raritan.
Most recently, Dan has been working for Branchburg Township School District, helping students in Branchburg reach their educational potential. Dan believes that Branchburg is at its best when we make room for new ideas and new points of view, especially as we face the challenges that come with growth.
Nathan Rudy lives in Neshanic Station with his wife, daughter, and three rescue dogs, and a large garden. Nathan has more than 30 years of management and executive experience in the corporate, non-profit, and government sectors including as CEO of the Tri-County Red Cross and Edison Chamber of Commerce, media manager for Lucent Technologies, and Senior PIO for NJ TRANSIT.
As a volunteer, Nathan has coached youth soccer and softball, cleaned the South Branch of the Raritan with Raritan Headwaters, raised tens of thousands of dollars for childhood cancer research with St. Baldricks, and served on the Somerset County Community Development Block Grant committee.
He holds a BA in English and has been trained by Homeland Security in crisis communications and the disaster response Incident Command System at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.
